  • Good quality tool!

I have been and still am guilty of sometimes buying cheaper tools for bike maintenance, particularly for jobs that I won't do very often, but the quality of this tool definitely justified its slightly higher price when compared with cheaper copies. Park Tool has a good reputation for a reason. I've got a State single speed/fixie bike and this tool is the business for removing the freewheel hub. It really feels like a tool you can trust and put some serious torque onto. Tip in case you dont know is to use the bike's wheel nut to hold this tool in place on the hub when removing or re-installing. This allows you to focus on removal or tightening without worrying about the socket coming off. The job is definitely easier if you have a proper socket set and a torque wrench (for setting the correct torque) though - a spanner could end up skinning your knuckles. There is a good video on Youtube that I found very helpful. Type in How To Replace a Single Speed Freewheel.

  • Waste of money

This product is a cheaper alternative to the shimano freewheel removal tool. The nut is too short to get a good grip onto, and also the teeth seem to be rounded somewhat, and this causes the tool to slip off the freewheel often. Please, spend the extra money it costs to buy the correct shimano tool.

  • Perfect tool!

Utilised this to remove a VERY stubborn, worn-out, cheap and nasty Dicta freewheel to be replaced by a highly recommend Halo Clickster unit.

  • Good quality tool

This was the right tool for the job. It made removal of the old freewheel possible with 2foot breaker bar but removal was quick and easy
