very well made
I could not find these in Australia the quality is second to none they move freely when the temperature set is reached and they close easy too when the temp drops they are filled with heat activated wax similar or the same as whats in thermostats in cars, they are made in the UK so they are not the same as those made in those far east countries by that i mean cheaply , the price is very reasonable too , the item is very easy to attach to any louvre its two screws and a rod to go into the louvre lever thats all ,it might take a wee bit of adjusting but that was nothing major as the holes in the opener allow for a bit of up/down movement , i highly recommend these to anyone wanting to open or close a greenhouse/hothouse louvre automatically ,,Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Automatic Side Louvre
This is an essential product for greenhouse ventilation. I installed 2 for my greenhouse, 8'x12'. Installation was easy & instructions were easy to follow. The spring tension on the arm was very strong, I felt, so I relieved one of the pair of springs. Over heat problem resolved

Does just what it is supposed to do
I have an old greenhouse and knew that the standard fittings were not going to work, but with a little ingenuity it is not hard to set this gadget up to work perfectly. (I had to make a link arm)
