Good well functioning product. Remarkably good value as well. If I had to say anything negative about the plugs it would be about the manufacture design as the retaining grub-screw that clamps the wire was about 2mm short so it was unusual to find it fell off the end of the thread when screwing it inwards. Better design would have made the screw tip reach the other side of the chamber and stop before the top of the thread fell out. Anyhow when there was a 50 strand copper wire in place it did reach far enough to clamp the wire fairly tightly. Those who complain the wire won't secure should try stripping a bit more of the insulation and folding the strands of copper double- it then holds tightly. To be honest better thicker wire is more "proper" as would be better quality plugs but you get what you pay for. They are now in use on some good bookshelf speakers and fed from a good quality amplifier. They sound fine so I think these are worth recommending and 4 stars.Read full review

I tried to save some money by buying less expensive banana plugs, so I bought these :( Turns out that the screw that holds the wire in place is located so near the deep end that it has serious problems firmly securing 4mm wire. Quite often freshly stripped wire just slips right out, no matter how well you screw the screw in. NOT recommended

Cable clamping screws are small diameter and close to end of cable when fitted, giving unstable connection Ok connection could be made by tinning ends of my 4mm speaker cable . Estimated 60% of plugs were loose after inserting into female socket, i.e. the plug inner stems could swivel inside the plug compression contact (these were discarded). Remaining 40% were a firm acceptable fit. Better budget alternatives are available.

Pleasantly surprised by the quality of this make of Banana Plug. They held the wires firmly and were a positive fit in the corresponding amplifier sockets. These were bought to replace previously purchased similar items where the small grip screws lost their threads resulting in poor connections.

A handy plug. The only down side is that it has a very short tube to put your wire into and secure with the screw. I had to either tin the wire end with solder or for a small wire fit a suitable tag then insert that into the plug. Once fitted as above all worked ok
