Surprisingly powerful and quiet
Had low expectations upon receiving this machine. As a cheap replacement for an expensive Dyson I was sure it would be primitive. It's proved better at lifting deeply embedded dirt and quieter! Was shocked at the state of my carpets resulting in a late night emptying of the drum lest the neighbours see. Best to buy new if you can.......
Admittedly reconditioned but to a poor standard on this occasion .Unless all key parts are replaced then its only as good as the oldest most worn part and you,ll be chasing problems every month. When it does work well its a nice light very powerful unit. It could do with a separate long flexi-hose because the suction can well handle it but as a design its a winner.Faults: lower filter cap wears and leaks suction and squeals like a stuck pig and rollers on base wear and cause brushes to drag to the point of not being able to push over the shortest pile. this in turn causes the motors to give in due to constant over-current. As a new unit, yes. We purchased this as a back up for our main unit and a recon should have fitted the bill ... just not this one sad to say.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished

Best new Vacuum
I love this vacuum. I had another Vax before a lower powered model which I love as it was so light, but the power dropped after 2 years. The power on this is immense. I only have a small carpet area in my flat to clean but builds up with dust so quickly. This does it in seconds. Easy to empty. Still quite light, though bit heavier than I’m used to used. WOW!!!!!! Great Vac this Vax

Simply the best Vacuum I have ever owned . I did the house with a brand new Henry , then went over it again using the Vax . The dust cylinder had to be emptied twice , it totally trounced the Henry . Received the hoover on time, my only problem is the handle doesn't lock in the the hoover. So when you go to push and pull the hoover while hoovering the handle will come out and the hoover just falls to the floor. So had to tape it on.
