Had to dismantle lathe to get it to where I wanted it. It's very heavy. For some reason had problems getting the headstock back on the bed but eventually managed. The centres were out of alignment but a shim on the tailstock sorted that out. 'didn't want the stand but you can't buy the lathe on its own.Liked the variable speed feature and the rotating headstock although it was very stiff. After turning a small bowl and a handle the switch gave out so I had to send the whole headstock back to Draper. I'm wondering how long it will take to get it back.
