Super-Simple, super-effective!
I have long been rather obsessive about keeping my knives razor-sharp. I just cannot stand using a dull knife. Over the years, I have invested in stones, and a variety of devices to try to keep my knives sharp. But it generally takes time to get a really good, sharp edge to a knife, especially kitchen knives that are often abused. Then I used my father's Rada sharpener - and it changed my knife sharpening life forever! Just a few drags through this thing, and nearly any knife is amazingly sharp. In fact, I get out my old, high-carbon sharpening steel out far less these days, as this Rada miracle gets most knives sharp enough for 99% of my cutting activities. Only when I kneed the absolute MOST sharp knife do I get the steel out. And this thing is so simple and easy to use, even my 10 year old daughter has no issues getting a knife very sharp. It was advertised as being "A RADA knife sharpener" It's a no brand name sharpener. It looks like a no brand name and sells for the same price as a "Rada". Over 20 years ago a client introduced me to RADA USA MADE KNIVES ! They are by far the best knives I have ever owned and this knife sharpener is the best ever! My hubby asked for one to take to his shop to use on knives he has for outside “work “ knives! These products are not cheap yet they are far less costly than all the “TV “ brand sets! Rada Knife Sharpener
The Rada knife sharpener is very easy to use with great results. In my opinion this is the best knife sharpener on the market, bar none... Just remember that knives have different blade angles from the maker. It may take a little effort the first time a knife is sharpened due to changing the angle to the Rada's sharpening angle. The way to start a new knife
It's easy just pull a new knife though the slot and it gives you a great angle on both sides of your blade,that match. Also can help to strengthen up someone's mess! Small but has the steel to do a great job.
