Brass tips can’t cope with heat...
This set looks nice, has plenty of accessories with it and comes in a little case. Unfortunately on its first use I went through two tips as they overheated (literally went red hit) and began to melt. There are two heat settings on the wood burner but the lower heat setting isn’t hot enough to actually burn the wood - pretty pointless. The end result is that the tread on the iron itself has now worn down so the iron is rendered useless after one use. Disappointing.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Look nice but looks are deceiving.
This looks nice but that's where it ends. The best bit was the small case it came in. I read the user instructions which said to screw the tips in fully, which I did. Having then used it, the tip had become so hot, it would not now unscrew. The tip was unable to cope with the heat created and became joined to the thread of the iron itself. This now means the thread of the iron is damaged and the whole thing is now useless. I do have a nice little box and a metal letter stencil, though. Cheap and not very cheerful
The piece I used to burn my wood was so hot that it bent and snapped off. This was the first time I used it. The screw in piece wouldn’t come out. Therefore after one use, I cannot use it again. It’s useless.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Versatile little tool.
I actually bought this to cut stencils in mylar sheets. Far easier than using a blade, especially on the tricky curvy bits and the detailed areas. Best used for this on the low setting as the high is too hot. I have not used it yet to burn wood but no doubt it will do the job. Decent quality for the price and lots of accessories. Beginners kit
Ok for a beginner, but I upgraded to a wire tip which is easier and a better result. Tho first pic was brass tips, the second wire tips. No comparison.
