It works on unstained unpainted natural wood as well. Cons: Deft Interior Clear Wood Finish Gloss Lacquer 12.25-Ounce Aerosol Spray needs to be used in a very well ventilated location or outdoors due to the dangers of inhalation. Do Not use near air intake ventilation ;i.e. Air Conditioners, outdoors near open windows or doors, Air Circulation Systems that draw the toxic fumes into buildings.
