This is my third purchase of this kit...this static model is just for parts
I built the first one and it took me about a month or 15 - 20 hours of work. I decided to do the second one since I got a lot better price on it and wanted to make a perfect one. This third one is the static model that I just need for parts, I've broken too many of the parts and this is the cheapest way to get them. Do I recommend it? well obviously! But only if you're rather serious about tank models. But I now consider myself a "serious" hobbyist, if by sheer dollar amount spent alone. This approach is certainly not for everyone since it gets mighty pricey very fast.
