    Classy machine

Solidly built, grinds like a champ. I'll be honest that it's not as easy to clean as a blade grinder, but I was expecting it. A little odd that you do need to lift/shake it a bit to get the grounds shaken down, and it's likely that you will not be able to align the cord with the hole on the bottom as you set it back down. Does exactly as advertised, but look for a sale. 150 is too much for a grinder of any type, in my opinion.

decent grind with enough settings but frustrating to clean and too much leftover in the grind chamber

Grind settings are easy to change but it is hard to clean and the ground beans do not fall through the chute well. There's a lot of leftovers in the grind chamber

  • A great value burr grinder.

If you love freshly ground coffee, you will find, as I did, that a quality burr grinder produces much rounder, complex flavors than the standard blade-type coffee grinders. We have been amazed at how superior in flavor the same beans are in all three of the coffee-making processes we do in the course of a week.

  • Powerful Grinder

This replaced a Cuisinart with more features than the Capresso that I thought was really good. The Cuisinart just quit on me after about a year so I decided to go for as much quality as I wanted to afford. The Capresso doesn't have as many features but it does a way better job than the Cuisinart. It is solid as a rock and slowly and relentlessly grinds how ever many beans you put in it without its pace ever changing. It's the real deal and produces uniform grounds at every setting. One thing I really have grown to love is the static-free grounds container. With my old one I used to have to tap, tap, tap and then brush out the container with every use. The ground coffee pretty much just falls out of the Capresso container. It doesn't hurt that I found it on eBay for $40 cheaper than anywhere else. I highly recommend it.

  • Nice machine

Very nice machine. Very versatile to different grind textures. Builds a lot of static during use, but was able to find a solution to this via google. I love it

  • Well Engineered and Precise

The Capresso 575.05 is a very well engineered, precision made machine. It does not leak grounds, is easy to clean and produces a very consistent grind. So far my experience is very good and I would buy again.

  • Capresso coffee bean grinder coffee bean grinder

A great bean grinder for the price! It seems to be very well built, and it's very easy to use.

  • Great value, solid design

Reasonably priced "pro" grinder, you can dial your grind pretty finely with this. Everyone says it's quiet, I'm not sure I would call it "quiet" but it's not bad. Less harsh sounding than a blade grinder, and definitely quieter, but far from quiet.

  • Quiet with high-quality grind

I love the quality and the way it grinds my coffee. Very happy. It's also not very noisy - no roommate complaints so far.

  • Hands Down

I have the capresso 565 .05 this model is Very Very quiet this is my third conical grinder, and by far this one is the quietest, far exceeding any of the other ones that i have had. The grind process is gear reduction, grinding the beans at a slower rpm and you do not get the static that you normaly get on other Grinders.
