The K01 Self Balancing Electric Unicycle Is Incredibly Fun to Ride and Is a Great Workout Too
Right up front, I give this Kiwano K01, 5 stars, a thumbs up, and I heartily recommend it for those looking for a fun transport mode. I also recommend the optional warranty as this is a sizeable investment that could approach 1000 dollars. With this glowing review offered, there are some caveats which I share in the body of this review, next. After reading the simple instructions, downloading and watching 10 online videos demonstrating HOW TO enjoy this SELF BALANCING ELECTRIC UNICYCLE, I found my years of water skiing to actually be a detriment to my learning curve. Also, the street I was using to practice on was high in the middle, sloped down to the shoulders, and was in disrepair, which is a lot less ideal than a large, flat, even area like parking lot or school play ground. However, after 2 weeks of 15 to 30 minute jaunts a day, of trial and error learning, I felt quite comfortable. Age may have played a part in the time it took me to to get the hang of things, as I am 72. Now then, the fore going having been stated, from the time I received the K01, a week early, I was and still am, 1st very impressed with the quality of this SELF BALANCING ELECTRIC UNICYCLE, 2nd also very impressed with the shipping packaging, and 3rd glad to see some truth in advertising, as the recharge time is actually around two hours, with the riding time also being around two hours between charges. I opted for the 3 year warranty since this was 500 dollar investment for a used K01 and could approach 1000 dollars to buy a new K01. Altho the Kiwano K01 support website shares a good deal of info, I have yet to find a phone number or brick and mortar address. Love it!!
I’m 45 and ride it everyday along with my two boys one 16 the other 8. We all just love it. It’s kinda hard to learn at first but like most anything, the more you ride the better you get. It’s easy for me now. I highly recommend buying one. This thing is built well. I weigh 184lbs and it carries me up hills and around like nothing. Get one if you can.
