Very Stylish, Very Sturdy, Still Pricey, But It's Kate!
While I did want to purchase a Kate Spade purse to pay homage to her, after her sad and untimely death via suicide, and to highligtht that depression is a tragedy for the affected and their families, not a moral weakness, this was BY FAR the most expensive purse I have ever purchased. So no, I cannot say it is a good value. This site sold the purse at a better price than I could find elsewhere. I have had many compliments on the looks of the bag, and it is stylish and a great neutral with many outfits, even though it has a good deal more flair than a plain, solid black bag. So from that standpoint, I give it the five starts. It is made very well. As the listing points out, it is VERY small for the average person, and does not hold more than phone, keys, sunglasses, reading glasses, wallet, chewing gum, kleenex, and a couple of lipsticks. If this is large enough for you, go for it. The crossbody construction is smart, and yet the stationary handles are large enough to carry over your arm comfortably.
