Keep nearly their full charge for 12 months + in storage
These will recharge even when pancaked. They don't have as much capacity as other AAA rechargeable batteries but because they hold thier charge for ober a year they are ideal for remote controls.

Always Ready
Because these batteries self discharge at a very very slow rate. They can be relied upon to actually work if left in a torch or similar for occasional use. They will also stay powering remotes for a long time. I keep a tube with about twenty of these in. When I have a device with flat batteries I just drop the needed number from the bottom of my tube, insert in the device and that's the device sorted. I then put the flat batteries on charge. When they are charged they go in the top of the tube. This means I have a never ending supply! With these batteries the system works a treat and batteries are never charged unnecessarily; the killer of rechargeables.

Ideal
Bought these to replace some 1800mAh batteries for use in my FM headphones. Although only rated at 800mAh they last a lot longer than my old batteries, even when my old batteries were were new.
