Disappointing
Good idea - but found the usual Uk plastic water bottle tops were too big in diameter to fit into the coin operated top so had to file off the bottle top threads before it would fit. Would have been a good idea to advise which type of water bottle it fitted.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

This trap really works!
As per the clip on Facebook I used the trap as a feeding station only on the first night then set it with the 50p piece the second night. Bingo! The next night bingo again! And since then the trap has been undisturbed with no sign of further little visitors. Having used other humane traps with zero success I was not expecting such good results. surprisingly effective
surprisingly effective - have to admit took 2 days of trial and error - for example we positioned the mousetrap in the middle of the room, no luck! mice were careful not to venture into the middle of the room; then positioning the trap near the wall worked. we had very small mice so needed extra small stone (=weight!) in the bottle was needed. after the 2 days of trial we caught (and released) 3 mice in 3 days. definitely works!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Poor value for money
Only works with narrow necked bottles, so, forget it if you never drink Coke! Not a lot for a fiver: just two tiny pieces of plastic and a rubber band. As I have yet to find a bottle, I cannot say whether it works as a mousetrap.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
