Great space saver
Good solid structure and very easy to install. Definitely would advice doing in on a piece of hard wood before screwing to the ceiling. Only gripe is the string could have been a bit thicker. Works perfectly fine on my bikes just for piece of mind thicker would have been better.

Dangerous.
I read the other reviews before purchasing. They are incorrect. This bike hoist is poorly designed, poorly manufactured and actually dangerous. In concept it is appealing but the conceptualisation doesn't translate into reality. The main flaw is the hook system which should hold the handlebar at one end and the saddle at the other. There is not enough curvature to secure either the saddle or handlebar.... the slightest movement will dislodge grip and the bicycle will drop. Also the metal used on these 'hooks' has no strength, they are easily bent with the hands. The cord also is of poor quality and will have no longevity before breaking. I shall be altering mine to address the problems ... I can only assume they have not been tested by the retailer. They may think twice about selling them when a bike falls and cracks a customers skull.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
