This is exactly what you want.
I have a standard 10/22 and wanted a breakdown model.
This stock works extremely well, in fact I like it more than the ruger models I considered buying.
I had two main concerns, 1. would it hold the barrel in place correctly to the receiver, 2. would it work with my bull barrel, it works perfectly.
The bull barrel is a little snug when placed into the stock but to me that's a plus.
Only thing I would change if I invented it would be to make the stock a bit longer.
You could do this and not increase the footprint of the broken down design.
This would also add room to the storage area which is small.
