"A cheap, effective and worthwhile modification"
It was easy to fit, without any need for buying a new chain. The original (smaller) sprocket as fitted to the new machine (purchased October 2019) has a rubber buffer which extends, via holes, through from one side of the sprocket to the other, and which I can only assume must have been vulcanized into position. There was no way I could see of transfering this to the new sprocket, but it doesn't seem to matter. The new sprocket has holes drilled through it in a pattern matching that of the old one, suggesting that the pattern-makers have made provision for such a rubber buffer. However, I am not aware of any increase in chain noise or other disadvantage caused by its absence. The bike now has a lazier feel and sound to it, which is exactly what I wanted, but has lost nothing in throttle-response or flexibility

RE HIMALAYAN 75mph+
Great product but slightly larger than stock, so chain will not fit...however...go two teeth down on the rear and the chain will fit again...but even better, the Himalayan now cruises comfortably at 75mph and 5K rpm with a little bit left over...brilliant!!

Royal Enfield 16 tooth gearbox sprocket
Nice well made German sprocket it only lowers the revs by about 300 rpm , on my Royal Enfield interceptor at about 83 Mph it’s doing about 5000 Rpm hope this helps people.
