It will do

If you need it, you need it!
This is a genuine replacement part, and as such does the job. However it must be the most expensive small bit of plastic and string ever marketed. You probably don't need the string as it is the plastic that fails. This does look slightly stronger than the original which is a very poor design judging by the number of failures. Doesn't fit all fx20 fan heaters
The one supplied was to wide and to long,so had to saw the pegs to get it to fit into the slots,and had to file end so as to make better contact with switch.No problem for me being a electrician but not everyone will be at home doing this.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
