This unit is amazing. I have a property with huge Douglas Fir trees. They continually drop branches and I don't want to burn them. This chipper handles branches up to 2 1/2" like a champ. It actually pulls the branch right out of my hand. Turns out beautiful wood chips suitable for scattering on trails, composting etc. Branches bigger than 2 1/2" I can cut for the firewood for the fire pit in the yard. The big hopper works great for shredding leaves and pine cones. For the small, compact and powerful unit it is, the price is very reasonable. Thank you so much for a fine piece of equipment. Con: The rubber boot in the inside of the chute catches on branches and finally tore loose. I'll be removing it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
