    WOW lotta power

I did not know if electric would be the right thing, as we used to have a gas operated one along time ago- this baby cut through a very healthy camphor tree's branches. Think one was 8 inches thick. Very pleased it came quickly and once my son figured out what went where,it worked great - I would recommend this product to anyone- Will warn you, the saw is a bit top heavy when completely extended, the pole could be a little stronger- but it holds it's own

    OK for cutting only branches

The product is only good for cutting low hanging branches. Very heavy to hold the pole fully extended and no good for cutting high shrubs. There is also a flaw in the design of the pole trigger. When you attach the pole to the saw end the pole attachment is too low and does not engage the saw trigger. I had to tape a piece of plastic to fix this problem.

  • Very handy Well designed.

This is my second one. I wore out my first one from heavy use, then my son and law did it in by backing over it and busting it. This is a great unit and will purchase another one when the time comes. A nice feature is you can easily separate the saw from the pole in less than a minute for normal use. Keep it oiled and don't loan it out.

  • Remington RM1025ps electric pole saw

I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived , I had no Idea that that the 10 inch bar chainsaw was a separate piece and you can use it like a small chain saw ., I have used it to trim high branches using a ladder and reaching up overhead , only two things stand out as cons using this saw : the center pole joint does not have a positive lock to keep it from separating while handling the saw , however when cutting over head it is not a factor and the other thing is Its top heavy and can be difficult to use overhead but it cuts through heavy limbs like a knife through butter . This is a bargain . I researched many of these online and this was the best bang for the buck I found

  • Good Product

Has enough power to cut both small and larger branches. Can reach more without the use of a ladder.

  • Great saw

Just had a chance to use this saw had some major pruning to do on my trees. Works great a little heavy but I think it’s a well made product. Would recommend to family or friends.

  • solid electric pole saw

compared to a worx pole saw, it is night and day for quality. more power and overall better design. I love it. Not bad at all for cutting bigger branches if you know how to operate this saw safely. Worth the money.

  • Skip the tool rental

Ordered it and received less than two days later. Which was great. Got it to trim trees at my parents house and it worked great. Wish it came with oil but may have missed it in the description. For what it cost to rent one from Home Depot for the day. It was well worth the price

  • Pole saw

Well I trimmed a total of one hundred sycamore branches ranging in size from 1/2 inch all the way up to 4" in diameter, ran flawlessly over a period of three hours, used about 1/4 tank of bar lube, very little in comparison to a gas saw. This is a heavy saw when fully extended, I ran it on a 200 ft extension cord, no issues. I like the detachable feature so you can use it just like a regular gas saw without the extension. I dropped and banged it several times so it is rugged, cuts at slower blade speed than a comparable gas saw. I did have to reset the tension on the chain after I was finished. It should last and is well built and versatile. I highly recommend this considering I own three other powerful gas saws that are too heavy for up the tree trimming.

  • good idea to make it 2-in-1, but ...

    1) the chain get so loose it dropped off, and hard to proper tension it. 2) too heavy to hold steady at full extend. 3) easy to assemble, but whence assembled, you can NOT dis-assemble the pole into original 2 pieces to shorten it for storage or carry around. a absolute design stupidity. They need a trained engineer.
