    A power-packed phone

This is an excellent phone. Why spend money on anything else? Its star feature is the long battery life, but it does everything you may want. This particular one is the European version that has a dual SIM. If you need dual SIM make sure that you buy the right version. Most UK models are single SIM. This European one comes with a European plug for the fast USB charger, and a UK 'shaver' adaptor is included (albeit unfused and unshuttered, so not BS compliant).

Great battery life but won't do a system update

Quite a heavy phone but has a brilliant battery life and quick charge. Camera isn't the best. Quite easy to navigate.

  • Hard to beat for the price

Got this to replace a Cubot Note S which had run out of app space and the GPS never worked properly from new. I hadn't realised it was a rebadged Lenovo until it arrived. The dual SIM feature is useful if you are going abroad and want a cheap SIM for local calls whilst retaining the home one as backup. Very pleased so far, the most noticeable feature is the amazing battery life, it only gets to about 50% after a week from a full charge! (I turn my phone off at night to avoid interruptions). Love the flick gestures to turn on the torch or camera. Very little bloatware. Would have had 5 stars if it had a magnetometer but not a deal breaker for me. The only slight niggle is the USB C charging cable rather than the more standard micro although I suspect the type C might be a bit more robust and is reversible. I put in the SIM and SD card from the old phone and it was up and running in a few minutes.

  • I've got a keeper!

Anybody wanting to purchase a more expensive phone other than this should look here first...What caught my attention was the size of the battery 5000mah but it is so much better than just being a practical phone...Great functionality and handles games like call of duty and pubg very well indeed with medium graphics setting and no overheating. I am very impressed.

  • Moto G7 Power - Slim, sleek and smart!

My last two phones have been Motorola and I've been very happy with both of them. My new Moto G7 is no exception. Slightly bigger than the G6 but that's not a problem for me. I like the dual SIM capability as this makes managing different call types and service providers easier. The 64GB ram means super fast response plus plenty of room for the inevitable app updates.

  • Excellent phone at an excellent price

This phone has an Incredible battery life. I don't make many or receive many phone calls, and I don't do social media or anything - so the phone is basically switched on but the screen is off - and I turn the phone off overnight. I'd say just with the phone on standby like that - ready to receive phone calls during the day - I can get 10 days EASILY and more likely 2 weeks on a single charge - I'd say it drops about 5% on the charge level each day which implies 20 days but you won't get that - and the phone starts warning you about battery life at 15%. Even with very heavy use you're likely to get two full days, which means you won't get caught out if you forget to charge overnight. The turbo charger works well too - I purchased a spare one. Needs a USB type-C lead which means you should really buy a spare (most phones I've had just use a standard micro-USB plug/socket connection which means most leads even the ones from a pound shop fit). To use a third-party lead with the turbo charger, it has to be good enough quality to allow the higher current to flow - I purchased a Juic-e-Bitz one and the phone reports that it's turbo-charging off the official Motorola turbo charger/adapter. The lower-resolution screen is of no consequence - the picture is as crisp as on any other phone - the pop-up keyboard is just big enough to type on. The size is about the largest I could expect to get in a trouser pocket and still be able to bend my leg without it feeling uncomfortable. I purchased the dual-sim version which means I've got my original SIM in there and I've got a data SIM from another provider in too. If you set up the SIM handling to "manual" you can choose which SIM is used for data, and when you make phone calls or send text messages, it will ask you which SIM (telephone number) to send it from. It's truly amazing in that respect - it's basically two phones in one device and both are turned on and able to receive phone calls! It hasn't got NFC, so you can't use it at a contactless pay point, but I don't care that this feature is missing. The camera is adequate - the photos are pretty good even when you zoom in, but the flash is fairly low-powered and tends to make the photos look colder (slight blueish tint). Overall for the price it's excellent. I much prefer all the functionality and battery life this phone has over anything that would cost several times the price but wouldn't fit a pocket or would need charging every single day and probably need topping-up during the day too.

  • Good all rounder

I used one for work the last 12 months, when the wife's Samsung J3 ran out of steam this seemed an ideal replacement. She got used the weight and size pretty quickly, as it runs all her favourite (running / fitbit) apps. Added a 32GB SD to store her running music and for her numerous photos. Hopefully it'll keep her happy for another year (or two).

  • Great phone, good battery life.

Does everything I need at less than 20% of the price of a new i-phone. Dual sim and memory card slot so incredibly flexible if you want to go travelling. Battery lasts me up to 3 days with light use and recharge is fairly quick.

  • G7 heaven

If you are looking for a great phone on a budget then look no further than the G7 power. At Β£135 for a dual SIM Android phone that will pretty much do everything the average person needs it's a great bargain. The battery lasts about 3 days for an average user.. it's awesome.
