Nice addition to my set
Wish Ridgid would build this gun. They would probably put bigger hammers in it. Am very impressed with the quality of this conversion. Looks/acts like it came from the factory. Only problem I have is that compared to other 3/8 cordless guns it lacks some in power. In fact my son put on a couple of bolts with a 12v gun that this one wouldn't take off. Great extra impact for my projects/ work

Reconditioned Tools are excellent ways of saving money
While most people haven't even considered using recon tools they should, and why is they're the same product you buy in the store but reconditioned because of a flaw or a mistake from the factory that has been fixed! So why spend hundreds on tools that is only gonna get used and scratched up and not buy a reconditioned tool that someone had to take the time to check and make sure it's working properly? Makes sense to me, and can't be happier knowing I saved well over a hundred bucks for the same tool! An oldie but a goodie!
I bought the set new at Home Depot. I immediately found both tools to be strong and the battery life was outstanding. I needed a replacement when my driver walked away from my house. Found a great deal on eBay of course. I have driven 6 inch lag bolts while building a deck with this tool.
