  • easy read, but very opinionated

This book might work for many pregnant women, however I felt it wasn't for me. It felt condescending and in most cases doesn't give you even the slightest explanation of why things are they the way they are. I understand this isn't a medical literature, but a bit more actual knowledge wouldn't have gone astray. As funny as some anecdotes are, I have to admit I put it away the moment it was mentioned that any exercise is unnecessary as 'you'll get fat anyways'. This seems like the point of view of someone who's excusing everything with being pregnant and that's simply not how I look at life. I don't regret having bought it here second hand, however wouldn't have spend the full price on it as I believe it's overrated.
