    excellent first real cutlery

    As a progression from the plastic or rubber infant cutlery, this is ideal. Squared handles make them easy to hold, the drop edge on the knife is handy on lipped plates and the fork is as safe as one can be. They are an ideal size and there are no recesses to trap dirt. yup, ideal.
