Sceptical and now impressed
The down side to having fun at the range working up loads is keeping the barrel clean-ish. Before I would mop some No.9, brush then pushes patches through 4-6 times to get a clean patch. Yesterday I tried out the Squeeg-E after 50+rounds, the 22lr mopped, brushed and one pass with the Squeeg-E, passed a clean patch just to see, it was clean so re-used that patch to oil. The 308 was pretty manky and took two Squeeg-E passes, clean patch reused to oil, I'm impressed! The T handle on the pull through needed a little lube to get the clasp working better. The kit is quite compact and has the capacity for a few boxes of ammo, tools or cleaning products but not all at once. Top tip - a rag at the muzzle will stop dark oil freckles on your shirt as the Squeeg-E leaves the barrel.
