Excellent Welder Built To Weld
Having never TIG welded before I thought long and hard about buying a TIG welder, however Union Mart made the decision easy and less than 24 hours from ordering it was delivered. The welder is an amazing bit of kit at a price far less than I expected to pay with quality, ability and features only found on welders much more expensive than this unit. Within 30 minutes of setting the machine up I had made a not too shabby butt weld on 1mm sheet steel. This welder is a joy to use and the High Frequency start of this welder is a real bonus. There is an adjustable Argon Gas delay timer to reduce burning of the weld pool at the end of a weld, and there is two levels of pulse weld to reduce burn through on thin sheet. Not only does it TIG weld it can also stick weld and all from a 13amp plug. Would I recommend this machine you bet I would and not just for DIY use, I would have been very happy to use this at my work place if it had been available then.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Build quality Excellent Smooth TIG Arc and the pulsing works very well. HF worked well In MMA will strike up and burn a Basic electrode without any trouble. As good as an industrial welding machine. Good bit of kit!
I have only tried the arc welding function so far and was very impressed. It worked very well providing a good weld. I am yet to try and tig weld. I do feel that there could be some more concise instructions for this.
