I bought the makpac type 4 stacking cases to store my Makita lxt tools in, the cases are nice and deep and i can get at least 4 of my tools in each case. They stack together nicely and lock tightly together so they are easily carried ond don't take up too much room in my van

It is what it is and serves my purpose, which is to house a Makita laminate trimmer, bases and accessories. Only issues are it came with an insert for a power tool that I did not want and also had identifying labels affixed for that tool. It gives the impression it could be second hand or an unused accessory and wastes time in having to scrape of the labels, not an easy task.

I should start by saying that I got this for storing various items in the boot of my car, but not power-tools (Makita or otherwise). The case was delivered quickly, in a cardboard box (what is it with companies always needing to add extra packaging??) and is exactly as described both in general and in temrs of its dimensions. It is VERY well made and very solid. It comes with an insert for Makita tools and batteries, which I discarded. The clasps are a bit stiff. I've read elsewhere that you can make them easier to open with silicon spray, but for my needs they are fine as they are.

I have about 15 Makita and Festool Systainer snow that I’ve been steadily collecting over a few years. They double as work benches, steps and keep tools in my safe and secure. Whether you use these brands or Dewalt just to know what is where just makes life easier.

The Makita Stacking connector box system is excellent, easy to use and I have all my tools in one place.
