Cable should be longer.
I purchased this to add to the back of my enclosed contractor trailer to ease backing down my narrow driveway. I was hoping to mount the transmitter in the nose of the trailer, where there is a plastic upper valance, so as to minimize signal loss. Problem is, the cord length from the camera to the transmitter is only around 3 feet, yet there is a long length of power supply cable. Setting it up the way I wanted requires another $40 extension cable, which makes this purchase cost prohibitive. I don't see the need for the excessively long power supply cable. The camera cable is what should be long to allow the transmitter to be as close to the GPS unit as possible. Poor planning by Garmin. Can't even finish the setup until I find someone selling the cable....at a reasonable price!
