This is a cheap circular saw, it reflects the price paid - the build quality is not brilliant, but it was cheap and so this was expected. That said, it cuts wood which is why I purchased it. It probably will not last as long as my previous saw, but I went for the cheap option as I only use the saw occasionally. Provided it gives me a few years of service this has done the job, if it doesn’t then I shouldn’t have gone for the cheap end of the market. Time will tell.

If you think that this saw will rip up trees you will be disappointed It didn’t like cutting the fence posts that i put in front of it so I tried my battery Makita and that went through it like a knife through hot butter Having said that its ok for the money and works ok on smaller bits of timber As I intend to use it as a table saw so it should be ok for that

Heavier than I anticipated, but it cuts straighter than the last one I had due to it's added weight. Excellent power tool, and great value too!

This hand held circular saw is an excellent addition to my DIY equipment. It performs really well on the different types of wood. I purchased it to replace a well loved saw and It is as good as the more expensive ones.

An excellent purchase that is really easy to use. It provides a good, fast, cutting platform and a safety-first guard & blade cover. The only disadvantage is that there is no box/case provided and the unit is an awkward shape for safely storing/stacking without this. I purchased a "large 33cm Tool Bag DIY Kinzo" on Ebay (£9.99) to make up for this.
