Not the same quality as 20 years ago
Good when one needs an extra burner or while living in dorm. It is not sturdy, easy to topple pot or pan because grate is not stable. Waste of time, effort and cost + return process time and effort
Received surprisingly fast. Began cooking by setting temp high in order to get small pan hot. During cooking adjusted "as advertised" ... set to medium was equal to turning it off. To top ruined several meals. I now have to construct return procedure. They were apologetic instead of just sending me another unit in it's place. I think they realize this product really are simplex DEFECTS yet they still continue to sell. Perhaps they invested in defected item and in knowing, decided to sell and wait for refund request (for their records) in order for them to do claim as a tax write-off as a loss.
