Poor quality
I purchased this swing late last year, put it together cover it and left it till the spring, we only used it 2 times then the cross bar that holds up the seat snapped when we was on it , I could not believe it the wood snapped in half, I had to and get a peice of metal box section and fit it on. poor quality for the price

Better than expected
Having read reviews about this item on another website I was perhaps expecting the wood to beof poor quality. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was built of heavy, laminated, hardwoods. This should last for years. Instructions were rubbish but referfing to the diagrams and the pictures on the ebay advert showed me the way. Overall it went together really well, though a helper to "hold the other end" was essential. For this price it is really good value, I did give it another coat of Sadolin, just to darken and make the colour more even, but have no regrets about my purchase.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
