Substantial thickness at summer ambient temperature,. good adhesion, provides more than adequate long term lubrication where it's lack of fluidity and it's stiff attributes do not present a problem. I would expect this product to excel when used as a protective barrier or lubricant in a water environment ( Having used a less substantial product on the 'rubber' components of aqualung equipment, used in a swimming pool and needing to retreat the equipment after each session ); shame this wasn't available then.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
