I've been a Tig welder for years, using mainly Miller Esab and Kemppi welders. So far this little welder seems to to perform well. A similar spec'd professional machine would cost about 3 to 5k. If you plan to do lots of AC welding, build or invest in a cooler.

An "Amazing" entry level price for a professional AC/DC inverting welder that's as good as any welder with another "0" in the price ! Seemed to cheap, but so glad I bit the bullet. So, out of the box its well made and sturdy, nothing loose or ill fitting including the auxiliaries. Power is a 16 amp single phase plug. Gas hose connects on the back of the unit. It has more adjustments than you can shake a stick at, but... just wiring it up and turning it on, set the AC/DC, dial up the amps and go for it..... perfect welding inside 30 mins of getting used to the gun. Flicked it over to AC and changed to Ali settings.....I'm a bit rusty on Ali (excuse the pun) but well impressed with the welder. Used it a few days now, would highly recommend, excellent value for money !!!
