Looks good but a little let down by build quality
This tool chest looks really good, the wood is nicely finished. It is however a little let down by build quality. Some of the screws and fixings werent fitted securely. The drawers run on flimsy wooden runners which may be prone to wear. The drawer bottoms are hardboard and not the most substantial. Basically it looks really good but I doubt it would hold up to much hard use. Not bad value at around £80.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Tool storage case

A bit of a mess
At first sight this is a nice looking chest but as soon as you touch it the problems start. There are two locks. One didn't work and the other literally fell off when I tried to open it. The lid does not fit properly, nor anything else. Most of the drawers stick and needed to be shaved and sanded to make them work. The baize lining in the drawers was not properly stuck down and needed repair in several places. In total I had to spend about two hours correcting the faults. Overall It's a bit of a mess that could have been perfect with a little attention to detail and proper quality control. I'm very disappointed.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good value for money.
Generally well made and a very convenient size for practical use and storage. The only negative is that the drawer bottoms are a bit insecure.... easily remedied by a few extra staples or pins. Overpriced and poor quality
For the money I paid, I wouldn't expect the lock to fall off and I had to find other screws to fix the lock back on.
