I bought 3 cans of this product to protect light coloured fabric upholstery in our new motorhome. It was easy to use and I took all the cushions plus seating outside to do the job plus used a necessary face mask also bought on eBay. I had no problems and now hope the treatment will be effective against the odd spillage! Way passed my expectations!
This is the most amazing thing a parent could ask for. I didn't believe it would work to be honest but the whole promised waterproofing result is REAL, this stuff actually works!! I used 2 cans on both of my 3 seat sofas and I'm buying more for my carpets!! Now I can keep calm when my kids make a mess! Just make sure you spray slowly and don't be afraid to use a lot if you have kids or pets. Ps. It stinks like hell, so open all your windows.

easy to use does what is says on the tin
Scotchgard Protector is easy to use. the spray nozzle sprays very finely and doesn't go on other unwanted surfaces like a lot of sprays do. shake the can well and warm the can in warm water prior to use as this helps the spraying on cold days. I recently got a new 4 seater sofa. Scotch Gard is a definate must. It does exactly what it says on the tin. You will certainly need multiple cans for large surface areas, & leave well ventilated for at least 12 hours. It's also ideal for shoes, bags, jackets, & cushions. Suited to Car Seat Application
I have a car with light coloured cloth seats, which in the showroom looked great. I real life they mark/stain at every opportunity. I have just spent some considerable time cleaning the seats, letting them dry and applied ScotchGard.
