Handy drinker
I ordered these maxi cup drinkers after trying several other water supplying devices for my two chickens. They arrived on time and were very easy to fix to the large tub I'm currently using as a water container. Yes, you do need a 12mm drill bit that doesn't come in your average bit set but all you do is drill one hole per cup and the rest is simple. One word of advice: don't use a water container with an air tight lid. This will stop the water flowing through to the cup. However, so far so good with the one cup I've used. They seem very good quality moulded plastic and they should last a while. Very happy with this product and the seller.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Sturdy and easy to use drinker.
Very well constructed, and they automatically fill as the chickens drink, unlike the cheaper smaller versions. We tried various other types and most rely on the chicken pecking a trigger inside. Our girls didn’t learn this so this drinker system is by far the best. Note to new users, you must allow some airflow at the top of your water bucket/barrel so allow air to replace the water volume. If you seal the top, the drinker will not fill. Its a sturdy well made drinker with room enough for 2 thirsty chickens to drink at once. Well recommended!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Fantastic Product

Maxi cup auto drinking feeder
This is a lovely little product. It's well made, it took me 2 minutes to drill the 12mm hole and put it together. Make sure that if you put a lid on your bucket/barrel/what ever you have used that it isn't sealed as this will cause a vacuum and the feeder won't work properly. Hens drink a lot of water and ensuring they have a constant supply can be a pain sometimes. These make it so easy. simply drill a hole in a bucket or barrel and off you go. Easy to fit, chickens very happy!
The maxi cup was quick and easy to fit. All it took was a 12mm drill bit and a container that you can get your hand into (I've fitted mine to a 20L plastic bucket with a lid). It simply screws on and filled straight away, not fiddly at all. Chickens took to it straight away. Simply the best!
Having tried several different ways to provide water for the chooks and all of them being failures, these are a brilliant success. I can now fill a barrel of water and know that my feathered friends will not go without. Two water feeders fitted to the barrel and no fighting over drinks!
