This can cause problems with the steaming function, causing water to leak. Use only tap water or distilled water or a mixture of these two types of water. If you are going to be dry ironing only, there is no need to fill the water tank. Move the steam control to no steam. Set the temperature control dial to the desired setting. Wait until the green Temperature Ready light illuminates, then commence ironing.
