Cheap and cheerful but not hassle free
Bought this as a stopgap cooker. The old one has died and I needed a hob/oven for probably a year before the kitchen gets redone.
It does what it needs to do but nothing more.
The cooker comes without three things that are key for installation.
1. No pipe to connect to the gas supply. Your fitter will have to supply one.
2. No cable to connect to the electricity. Even though it is a gas oven, it needs 240V power (for the ignition spark). However there is no power cord at all. You will need an electrician and some heat resistant cable and a way to connect to power.
3. No wall chain (to stop it toppling). It comes with a bracket. My fitter thought it far too flimsy and fitted a big wall chain he brought with him.
