The sights are a little challenging to use but super easy to adjust. The pump action is a little Cumbersome. Overall, a fun and consistently accurate once you get used to the awkward sights. Nice pellet rifle
I only give it three stars because it's definitely not easy to pump. Also I expected alot more power from this rifle. After straining to pump it 9 times it still wouldn't shoot thru a plastic water bottle at 5 yards. Crosman M4-177 .177
I tried to zero the Crossman but could not get the elevation low enough. I called and talked to Crossman. After explaining everything they sent me an adjustable front sight. After a week it arrived. The front sight was nice, part plastic and part metal. They also included a front adjusting tool. I started the zero process again and the elevation was no problem adjusting. I did have to adjust the rear sight to get my windage back. Remember to read the owners manual.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Pretty cool
I bought this for my 10 year old and he was so excited. We have had 1 piece break off (less 5han a week when that happened) but it didn't inhibit the way the gun works. Awesome Rifle!
Bought this for use on backyard Silhouettes. Didn't think most guests could hit them using my equally awesome Crosman 1377 pump pistol equipped with a ghost ring peep rear sight. This was PERFECT! Two great flip over rear peeps just like the real AR. FULLY adjustable, too, mounted on the detachable carry handle. The handle makes pumping easier than the flattop version, I would think. This gun is extremely accurate!!! Haven't shot BBs out of it and probably won't. Lead pellets are dead on with Crosman hollow points going into the black and ten ring all day long at 50' offhand! Pumping the gun will build arm and chest muscles in kids and women, for sure. The trigger is excellent as are the ergonomics. Moderately barrel heavy means steady offhand shots. Otherwise it is a real lightweight gun at some 3.5 pounds, yet it feels and handles like the real deal! Have shot it out to 85' with half a dozen pumps. Great way to get kids and neophytes used to and appreciate the AR platform!!! If I win Lotto, I'd buy a few thousand and give them away to youngsters. Get one, now, and have a ball! M4 practice rifle
This is a good practice rifle for familiarity with the M4, the pellet system is nice but can jam easy with distortion pellets. BBs are best with at least 7 pumps and putting a fore grip or a tripod on makes pumping simple. Picatilly mounts allow for trying different scopes and accessories. Accuracy is not the same as a real rifle, but for a practice indoor rifle you can’t beat it.
