Small and powerful, these little lights pack a punch. The "Daybright" mode, produces a slightly irregular seires of pulses, some brighter than others, that are intended to catch the attention of anyone behind you. It is certainly bright and eye-catching - for use during full daylight or it will be dazzling. The other 2 modes both offer a regular flash pattern with a lower lumen output. All 3 flash modes also feature continuous lighting. Battery life is hardest hit by continuous burn with run times of 3hrs, 6hrs and 12hrs, dependent on the program mode selected - each one producing a lower lumen output. The flash settings double the burn time for the selected mode. There is a rudimentary battery level indication, using a coloured LED as the light powers down. It's a rough gauge and not exact. However, I have found that my light will run past its stated burn time. These are very well built, alluminium cased lights, that really do the job.Read full review

Just got mine. Couldn't do anything else but buy exposure because I have a Strada front light that I love ! Easy charging once you read the instructions ! ..π build quality is exceptional. Looks great on the bike and various brackets are available to put on the bike / Helmet. 5 out of 5 .***** highly recommended. Tweeks cycles are great too ! ππ€£

I have been using this rear light now for several years. It is the best rear light that I have ever owned to date but there a few simple things that really should be modified hence dropping one star. The two worst things about this light is 1 the mount and 2 the tiny pull tab on the elastic rubber band that you have to pull to access the port to recharge it. The mount isn't great as it uses an elastic band which when you are cycling I have to keep having to adjust as it moves on the seat post so the light is pointing more to the side. It's not quite so bad when the band is new but over time it stretches and gets worse, it will also depend on the width of your seat post. Why don't Exposure release a new mount that you can screw tight and you can just leave it on and pop out the light when leaving your bike? The pull tab to access the charging port is less of an issue but it is so small it makes it really difficult to pull it to gain access, again why don't Exposure make the tab slightly bigger? I only use the light flashing and in the least bright setting so the run times are longer and is more than bright enough at night or days when raining or very heavy dark cloud.. Using it on the highest setting which is only supposed to be used during day time as it dazzles in this mode at night and eats the battery big time. I took a photo to show how the light ends up pointing after a short time cycling, the other two photo's show how small the lip is that you need to pull to access the charging port.Read full review

I have been using the previous Exposure Flash (front) & Flare (rear) light set on every ride as daytime running lights. The new TraceR light is brighter than the previous Flare and the flash pattern is different and more noticeable.

Excellent light. A little fiddly to get to USB port to charge ....but at least itβs waterproof. Very bright as to be expected. Have bought another one for someone else.
