Quiet easy to install but only 1 point of entry for electrical connections
Pleased how quiet it is compared to my old one. The point of entry for the electrical cable is at the bottom of the unit, only. This was purchased to replace my old unit, where the point of entry was at the top. To solve it, i turned the unit upside down. The fan works fine, but the xpelair logo is now upside down, i can live with that. Fairground toys are built better!
Cheap and nasty... unless you take great care in mounting it. Don't waste your money with this product. The body is flexible and too thin and if not fixed perfectly the fan catches the body and rattles. Same build quality as a fairground toy. Good value for money. The cable entry is a bit narrow for cable used on unit it replaced. with dedicated entry direction the unit had to be mounted upside down. Pity the manufacturers logo was printed on rather than a sticky label that could have been put on in correct orientation. Got this to replace my existing one. Really quiet with delayed start. Only complaint there are three small plastic plugs which cover the screws when fitted. Disappointing for an Xpelair product.
