A lovely cheese board at a great price, available in many sizes from the small one I brought to larger chopping boards. Made from old olive wood trees that are no longer producing viable olives so a sustainable product too. I love mine and am considering buying a larger one for a general chopping board. Ive always received beautiful olivewood boards and this 20kg bundle is no different. They are gorgeous with beautiful graining and need very little work to look really really special. A good source of project material
I can only assume that some of the small cracks in the wood make these seconds but that also gives you a much greater grain pattern. I ordered three of these for a gift to my daughter as she was looking for something rustic for serving an assortment of cheeses/tapas. They fit the bill perfectly. The quality is amazing, really thick and chunky. The three I received are all approximately the same length but varied in shape and will work beautifully for serving nibbles, whether straight from the board or from dishes on the board. This has all the requirements: it is not machined, it is a good quality wood and it looks good in the kitchen. Use one side for cutting and the other 'for show'. The only minor downside was the size.
