Well illustrated but lacking in depth
I quite liked both movies and the uprising cartoons. However this completely lacked any depth. It explained a bit of the missing information but did so in a manner that I felt it was meant to be a summary to the execs who needed to believe there was some continuity between the two movies. The first third is a complete waste crudely summarizing the first movie. Seriously If someone bought this I would expect them to go watch the original or deal with the lack of info. The rest had very shallow characters which made me just not care about or respect them. When a single episode of the cartoon has more plot and complex character development than this entire thick comic.... why did they bother. In the end I felt the gaps my imagination filled in between the movies and cartoon was far better quality and I wish I hadnt tarnished those assumptions with this.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
