Super impressive performance, quality build and feature rich, it has three gain levels, unbalanced and balanced outputs and I absolutely love the Xbass and 3d button that offer a slightly warmer sound for certain listening and a very subtle boost to the soundstage respectively. I paired It with the also very impressive Ifi V2 Dac and use them mainly for a set of Hifiman Sundara (37 Ohm) but It also drives my HD800s's (300 Ohm) beautifully. I find the unbalanced output with zero gain perfectly adequate on both sets so I cant imagine 99% of users having any problems powering all but perhaps the most ridiculously power hungry headsets. It's no wonder the Zen Can has so many awards and positive reviews. This little powerhouse not only sounds great, it really is outstanding value for money

Needed a headphone amp to listen to my records in the evening and my valve amp doesn't have a headphone output. I got a lovely little phono splitter and then purchased this. I did consider a valve headphone amp but fancied a change and this little unit is superb. Love the solid build quality and the sound is fantastic.

I got it stacked with a zen dac and it works perfectly with my desktop PC. Really good headphone amp. Is it better using the zen dac only. Possibly yes if you mind the extra cost. I like the use of the extra bass and 3d sound. it is much better than the zen dac's bass boost.

Easy to set-up and works very well. Used with my iFi Zen Blue DAC it works very well and is able to drive all the headphones I possess.

Check out the whathifi reviews. Pair with a decent set of cans and you’re away. Very much recommended.
