Fortunately not had a puncture yet so this review is based on 'looks & feel '. The tools look sturdy and I do not doubt that the glue and plugs will, when required (I hope never) do the job. It's thin package will sit nicely in the bottom of my motorcycle top box. I gave it 4* for these two reasons. Firstly, there are only three plugs. For such a very inexpensive component I think half a dozen more sensible. You never know if at a first attempt at repairing a puncture you might loose a plug or two in learning how to handle the kit. Secondly, there is no knife to trim the plug when it has cured. I accept that packaging a blade could present problems. I have included a surgical reverse cutting, curved blade, which comes in a stiff foil package. I should think that including another three plugs and a surgically sharp 'safe' blade would add no more than 50p to the price, which is already excellent value.Read full review

I had a screw embedded in one of my rear tyres. There is plenty of mileage left and I priced a tyre centre repair at £35!!! I can get a brand new tyre (fitted) at just over double that. So tried this temporary repair kit. It arrived in 2 days and was a doddle to use. Wheel off, deflated the tyre, removed the screw, cleaned the hole with the provided tool, fitted the patch into the other tool and applied the glue. Inserted the patching tool and quickly pulled it out again. DONE in less than 5 mins. I left the repair for 1/2 an hour to be sure, then reinflated the tyre. Cut off the excess and soap bubble tested the patch-totally tight! It's been a week now and I've checked it 3 times-no pressure loss at all. I'll get the rest of the tyre life out of the patch I'm sure, but will keep an eye on it. Recommended.Read full review

Purchased in Jan 21 and used for first time. The tool through which you insert the gummed strip prior to plugging the tyre has a prong that has snapped. To snap on first use is either a faulty tool or poor quality tool.
