I've thrown it out as useless.
It was meant to replace a unit for that model car, but it's about 1/4 the size of the original. As there were no dimensions on the illustration, I assumed that it would be close enough to adapt. After all, it was recommended for that model car. I coated the cracked original with polyurethane and it passed vehicle inspection.
A clearer description would be useful.
However, a tie rod, purchased by my mechanic was spot on and is in use.
