I am purchasing a Mini Countryman PHEV. This comes with a basic 13amp wall socket plug in cable. Perhaps ok at home. I plan to install a 7kW type 2 home charger. Likewise if away from the home, using a public charging point, thus I needed to buy a 32amp type 2 to type 2 charging cable. I looked at a number of options. But decided to order the Mini own version. The cable and connectors seem good quality and a storage bag and gloves are included. I have not tested the cable yet as neither the car, nor the charger has arrived. This was a good price compared to my local Mini dealership. My only complaint would be the car should be supplied with the cable. But that’s not the issue of this supplier. I will provide an update when I’ve tested the cable or compared it to another brand. Photo 1 shows good packaging of the cable. Photo 2 shows the contents - cable, bag and gloves.
