  • 180 gram vinyl reissue of first New Order LP

This album is fantastic, containing several tunes that would have been on a new Joy Division had Ian Curtis lived. As such it has every member of the band trying out vocal duties before they eventually settled and Bernard Sumner as vocalist. If you love Joy Division you must have this. If you love New Order you’re missing a key piece of the band’s canon. Experimental and dirgey, with brilliant production by Martin Hannett reissued on London/Warners in glorious 180 gram vinyl. After an ex made off with my entire Factory Records catalogue I realized I couldn’t afford to replace my collection with original issues- they resell for very precious prices! Imagine my delight to find new copies. Collect the entire back catalogue, this band transcends trends and their music bridges post-punk, art rock, gothic and they invented dance techno. Truly sublime.
