Great book for learning by doing
A great book to learn statistics by actually doing statistics since the book is made up of exercises that immediately encourage the reader to apply the material that they have just read. The organisation is excellent - the questions are immediately followed by the answers - no need to go hunting for the solution in an appendix or end of chapter section - it just allows you to get on with the work at hand. The knowlege is built up to allow progression to the more complicated topics. Overall a great book and perfect for those that want to put in the hard work and master the material. Beautifully presented - lovely font and typesetting - a pleasure to read.
