The new spike is superior to the unit that it replaces. The grade of steel is thicker, the anodised finish is better than its painted predecessor and the length is longer, so it has a better “ purchase “ in the soil . Good quality lawn spike for rotary airer. It's very good quality, but was a little too long for my lawn and wouldn't go in far enough This isn't the products fault. It's a fault on my part for not measuring the depth of spike I needed. It didn't go unused though.
